Generations Hall

Overview

Originally built in the early 1820s, the building that now houses Generations Hall was used as a sugar refinery for more than 60 years. It has also served as a warehouse for cotton, the first pumping station in New Orleans, and the Italian Village for the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition.

Today, this historic building has been revamped into 36,000 square feet of prime event space. Generations Hall is a unique and versatile destination for private events, banquets and corporate parties.

Inside Generations Hall

Generations Hall can accommodate a variety of group events and sizes. Comprised of three large spaces the Big Room, Metropolitan I and Metropolitan 2 Generations Hall can be configured to hold 50 to 5,000 guests. The multi-level interior features several bar areas, dance floors, balconies and modern furniture.

Generations Hall also offers state-of-the-art audio and video technology. From big band to disco, their talented in-house technicians can create a truly memorable experience for your next event.
